Summary
**Personal care assistant (Care Work)**
**15 hours per week (Suits flexible candidate)**
**Hours based on:**
Friday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Monday & Wednesday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
**(Some additional hours may be available to cover running late!)**
**Rate:** £12.50 per hour
**Job Purpose:**
* To assist me, a wheelchair user with cerebral palsy, with day-to-day activities, enabling me to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that aligns with my chosen lifestyle.
* I am a qualified fitness instructor, so this role is ideal (but not essential) for anyone interested in gym, sports, healthy eating, and diet.
My interests include football, F1, console gaming, and I enjoy playing all kinds of games and watching movies. I also love nature, including visiting zoos and nature parks.
**Work Duties May Include:**
**Helping with:**
Personal care and support with going to the toilet
**Supporting with:**
Accessing social activities
Going to the gym
Socialising with friends
Going for lunch and getting out and about in the community
Mobility, ensuring my safety
Bus travel
**Other Requirements:**
Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns
Assisting with management of my health risks
Establishing and maintaining effective communication
Maintaining confidentiality
**Location & Additional Information:**
Work will be within my home in Henbury and the local area
5.6 weeks of annual leave per year
Friendly and flexible employer
