We are looking for an ambitious and innovative can do person to create a inspiring new Southwark college student experience. This person needs to be passionate about developing the student experience to prepare 16-18 years olds for their futures and to work with adults to ensure that they have access to wider college experiences.

Student Experience Manager

We are looking for an ambitious and innovative can do person to create a inspiring new Southwark college student experience. This person needs to be passionate about developing the student experience to prepare 16-18 years olds for their futures and to work with adults to ensure that they have access to wider college experiences.

The purpose of the role is;

- To develop and implement a student experience calendar that aligns with NCG Guarantee outcomes across all five badges, providing an outstanding student experience which is highly visible in communal areas, particularly during peak break times.

- To model excellent communication with students and staff, utilising all communication platforms effectively, ensuring consistency, accuracy and impact, and to leverage IT solutions to track engagement, participation levels and overall quality of the student experience.

- To promote English and Maths at every opportunity by structuring activities that reinforce the commitment to 85% class attendance, linking enrichment opportunities and rewards to attendance achievements.

- To line manage the student experience team and support other staff contributing to student engagement as required by the line manager.

- To lead the delivery of a high quality, customer focused financial support service, offering information, advice and guidance to both new and existing learners.
