Crynodeb
The post holder will get extensive hands-on experience in the management of emergency and elective plastic surgery conditions. This includes hand and wrist, skin cancer, breast reconstruction, lower limb reconstructions and hypospadias surgery. Operating lists and clinics take place at all three main hospital sites but the majority of the work is based at Wexham Park. The successful candidate will be expected to take an active role in audit and academic development as well as the teaching and supervision of junior trainees. The unit has a strong history of contribution to national trials and audits with plenty of opportunity for involvement. The ability to work flexibly, cohesively and in collaboration with the existing teams is a necessary requirement for the post.
