Key responsibilities include: Provide programme management leadership and support across the full programme life-cycle from conception to programme closure and sustainability, using knowledge of best practice methodologies, tools and techniques with a particular focus on improvement, change management and benefits realisation in line with the SE GMS core aims Work with the senior team to design our overarching programme of work and to establish and manage the operational structures of the GMSA to effectively support the delivery of the programmes improvement and change objectives Work across multiple services, including clinical genetics, cancer services, paediatrics, primary care and other relevant specialties to support the embedding of genomics, including pathway design and workforce planning and development Provide overall PMO leadership, including a robust operating framework and setting a collaborative culture of working and continuous learning that supports effective programme delivery and harmony across a diverse team Develop business cases for varied audiences, including new project funding and for service commissioning Ensure a data driven approach to programme design, delivery and benefits measurements, including working with our digital and informatics team to identify and implement data solutions to serve our clinical teams and patients Ensure all programmes, projects and activities are managed in line with the SE GMS equality, diversity and inclusion strategy and aims Forge effective working relationships and partnerships across the GMS, including counterparts within entities across England, to promote joint working and derive mutual benefit from programmes of work Work with the senior clinical and management team to identify, develop and facilitate networks, collaborations and partnerships, including both public and private sector, to support the development and delivery of transformation projects as well as research opportunities Work with the SE GMS Education and Training Leads to develop a range of education and training programmes to address educational requirements across a range of professional stakeholder groups, linked to specific service transformation projects and in conjunction with the broader transformation agenda
