TheCentre of Interventional Paediatric Psychopharmacology and Rare Diseases (CIPPRD) provideswhole-person medicine and integrated mental and physical health careusing clinically

innovative interventions alongside patient involvement for children and youngpeople with complex, severe, and treatment-resistant co-occurring neuropsychiatric disorders,and medical conditions including rare diseases.

This service provides highly specialist assessment, pharmacological and psychological treatment

for children with a variety of complex neuropsychiatric disorders. This is in the context of

neuroinflammatory, metabolic, genetic or neurodegenerative disorders and acquired brain injury;

psychotropic-induced side-effects and neuropsychiatric aspects in children with terminal illness.

Intervention is based on a bio-psycho-social approach, and digital therapeutics being a central part of routine care for all patients. We pride ourselves on being able to utilise innovative technologies to enhance clinical outcomes and achieve clinical excellence. This role will involve optimising our digital health platform for use with patients within our team in line with NHS standards and delivering high quality clinical analytics to enhance our clinical care.

Our service also includes the world’s firstCentre for Rett Syndrome,a new service that provides neuropsychiatric services for Rett Syndrome patients across the life span.





CIPPRD is seeking to recruit to one full time Clinical Data Analyst to join the team on a permanent basis. The post holder will work closely with and under the guidance of the Head of Service & Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist. The post holder will be working with another clinical data analyst, a computational analyst and a precision medicine research manager, alongside the rest of the clinical team including another full-time consultant child & adolescent psychiatrist, one full time consultant clinical psychologist, one full time specialist grade doctor, nine specialty doctors, and a highly specialist clinical psychologist. The team also has students and trainees from different disciplines and is well supported by our admin team.

· To provide a clinical data analytics service within the structure of the CIPPRD to ensure that digital therapeutics form a central part of routine care for all patients in the service.

· To take responsibility for coordinating and managing data systems and processes involved, to ensure maximal clinical utilisation of innovative digital health technologies, methodologies and systems to enable expert and excellent clinical care.

· To provide high quality data analytics to enable service evaluation and development.

The post in CIPPPRD is based at the Michael Rutter Centre for Children and Young People, Maudsley Hospital. The Michael Rutter Centre is located at Denmark Hill, less than 5 minutes from the train station (zone 2). CIPPRD provide services nationally across the UK as well as to our local SLaM boroughs of Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham, and Southwark.

The postholder will assist with optimising our unique HealthTracker digital health platform in line with NHS standards for clinical care within the team, as well as ensuring that information is collated and analysed in a timely manner to enhance clinical care and support translational research for the team. The job will involve working closely with other data analysts and taking responsibility under the guidance of the Head of Service to use advanced analytics systems or packages to provide state-of-the-art information for the clinical team.
