Crynodeb
General duties include but not limited to:
Carrying out repairs and maintenance to HGVs, vans, cars small trailers & equipment.
Ensure company assets are adequately serviced and tested, ensuring that all repairs and maintenance complies with legal requirements.
Diagnosing faults to transport and plant and rectifying any highlighted defects.
Prepare vehicles for MOT.
Report to and provide regular updates to the Transport Manager.
Ensure the workshop is kept clean and tidy.
Skills and experience:
Be able to repair vehicles and a variety of machinery within a timely manner.
Have experience with repairing HGVs and vans.
Possess a good understanding of the legal requirements of maintenance and repair of HGV and small vehicles.
Have good communication skills.
A car licence is essential and for the right candidate HGV training is a possibility.
Have experience in working with a varied fleet of vehicles.
