Crynodeb
The postholder has a unique opportunity to learn leadership skills in real life in one of the most difficult areas of NHS practice with support from the BSMS leadership mentorship programme and PG Certificate, plus supervision from the both geriatric and emergency medicine consultants. The leadership part of the job is 60% of the time, the postholder will also work clinically for 40% of their time, with older people in the emergency department, to help them understand the issues and be part of the team.
