Essential person specifications required for the role: Full GMC Registration with a Licence to Practise MB ChB or equivalent Completion of Foundation Competencies or equivalent experience, demonstrating appropriate skills to work at ST1 level The ability to prioritise clinical needs An awareness of their own limitations The ability to assess, recognise and initiate management of acutely ill patients The ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English Capable of discussing treatment options with patients in a professional and understanding manner Capable of establishing good working relations with patients, carers and multi-disciplinary colleagues Experience of the audit process High ethical / professional standards in line with GMC Standards and Good Medical Practice
