Summary
Position
We are looking for a caring Assistant House Manager to join the Care Team at Henshaws College. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced care worker to further develop their skilset whilst contributing to our cause of helping our students go beyond expectations.
Supporting management of a team of SEN Care Support Workers to provide a safe, effective, responsive, caring and well-led service that focuses on a person-centred approach to meet the care and learning needs of our students.
A few of the duties include:
Managing and motivating a team of SEN Care Support Workers
Reviewing and writing person centred and accurate Care Plans
Supporting the assessment process for potential new students.
Facilitate the recruitment, induction and retention of new staff members.
Supporting the house manager with the preparation of EHCP reviews.
Deputise for the House Managers when required.
Salary: £25,536.78 per annum (£13.58 per hour on weekdays / £15.08 per hour on weekends)
Hours: 40 hours
Weeks: 39 weeks (term time only)
Holiday: 6.81 weeks
Closing Date: Friday 28th February 2025 at 12 noon
Requirements
You'll be an experienced Care Worker within the care industry.
Hold a Diploma in Health and Social care level 2 and a willingness to work towards level 3 within two years.
Willingness to support students in a way that promotes their independence and development.
You’re a flexible worker to meet the needs of our students and business objectives.
You’re a keen advocate for continuous learning and development within your role.
