We are looking for a Technician Demonstrator with a specialism in 3D and spatial design to complement our excellent technical provision. The technical team, and the workshops, studios and resources they manage are key to CSAD’s student experience. The technical team manages CSAD’s technical provision, deploying the School’s equipment and space in a system that ensures fairness and enhances safety, whilst promoting creativity, student-centred learning and initiative.
You’ll lead the way by:
Supervising creative processes and practices to facilitate student learning.
Demonstrating techniques and processes.
Coordinating requirements and purchasing materials and equipment.
Developing own skills and knowledge to support the student experience.
Ensuring safe practice through implementation of the School’s Health and Safety policy.
What you’ll bring
Expertise in 2D and 3D software – You have specialist technical skills in architectural communication, including digital tools, sketching, and technical drawing.
Hands-on studio experience – You can confidently deliver workshops and have relevant, recognised experience in a studio setting.
Clear communication skills – You can explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to support students and colleagues.
Team-oriented approach – You work well with others, meet deadlines, and contribute to shared goals.
Commitment to safety – You understand and apply health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.
