Little School House Nursery Delivers outstanding early years education, situated in the beautiful grounds of St Vincent's School in West Derby.
As a level 2 practitioner apprentice you will be expected to;
To work alongside a professionally qualified team
To promote child development
To support with personal care of the children
To engage in play and activities
To assist in lunch and snacks
To be aware of all aspects of safeguarding
Training
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Little School House Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
If successful, you will complete a level 2 early years practitioner apprentice standard, which includes;
•Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
•Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification
•Functional skills in Maths and English if required
This will be delivered through Little School House Nursery dedicated training provider, Realise.
Qualifications required
GSCE grade 4 and below in Maths and English is desired but not essential.

To have a genuine passion for child development
To be conscientious
To be able to take instructions
To effectively use initiative
Prospects
To progress to a higher Early Years qualification
Qualification / Standard : ST0888 Early years practitioner
Duration 12 months
