Summary
The Best Connection are excited to be recruiting for a sheet metal worker on behalf of our client in Birmingham. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who is looking for an on going position. A successful trial period will lead to a permanent position.
*General Sheet Metal experience necessary*
Experience on machines such as - Guillotine Press Break Drills CNC Punch
The role will include: Compliance with all procedures and work instructions. Reading, interpreting and understanding of drawings, work cards, specifications and other relevant technical documents. Working with various types of materials such as Titanium, Stainless Steel and others. Helping support with any management needs. Active involvement in Continuous Improvement activities related to production activities. Identify and communicate improvements to processes or procedures identified during production. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in accordance with the correct protocol. To succeed in this role, youll need to be: Organised and precise Working well within a team but also on your own. Experience working with various types of metal. Having a can do attitude. Punctual - Good time keeping is key. Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 07:30am - 4pm. 3pm Finishes on a Friday. Pay: £13 - £15
