E-Billing Assistant

Are you an experienced E-Billing Specialist looking to take the next step in your career? Search have partnered with a prestigious law firm based in Liverpool are seeking a an experienced e-biller or billing assistant to join their finance team.

The Role:

As an E-Billing Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of client invoices while maintaining compliance with client guidelines and internal policies. You will be the go-to person for all things e-billing, working closely with the finance, billing, and legal teams to improve efficiency and accuracy.

This role is suited for a Billing Assistant that is willing to cross-transfer into the electronic side or an experienced e-biller.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the end-to-end e-billing process using platforms such as Elite 3E, Aderant, or similar legal finance system
  • Uploading and submitting invoices via client e-billing portals (e.g., eBillingHub, Serengeti, CounselLink)
  • Monitoring invoice status, troubleshooting rejections, and ensuring timely resolution of any billing queries
  • Ensuring compliance with client billing guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Liaising with partners, fee earners, and finance teams to ensure accurate time recording and invoice submission
  • Assisting with reporting and data analysis related to billing performance and revenue tracking
  • Supporting process improvements to enhance billing efficiency

About You:

  • Experience in a legal or professional services environment within an e-billing or billing capacity.
  • Strong understanding of e-billing platforms OR legal billing procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skill
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external clients
  • Proficiency in Elite, 3E, Aderant, or similar legal finance systems is highly desirable
