Summary
A family owned and run Company for over 50 years, at Ron Perry and Son we value top quality customer service above all else and to this end we always seek to employ top quality staff. We own two Service Stations with Convenience stores and a Breakdown / Recovery business on the A19 close to Hartlepool. As well as Fuel, we stock a full range of shop goods have an Off-licence and are National Lottery Retailers.
Applicants must have a valid Driving Licence and own transport and need to be 18 years plus, due to Off-licence restrictions.
Staff Duties Include
Being well-presented and punctual;
Serving customers in a polite and efficient manner;
Handling cash and credit payments;
Receiving, checking and merchandising deliveries of stock;
General cleaning and housekeeping duties;
Ensuring Health & Safety standards are met;
Accurate shift reconciliation.
Breakdown Call Handling / Controller. Receiving calls and dispatching Recovery Drivers to jobs.
Using Microsoft Excel to record daily sales figures on a spreadsheet.
Previous Retail experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.
Previous Excel experience advantageous but not essential.
Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate would be advantageous.
Position could be for 17.5 - 25.5 hours per week. Opportunity for occasional extra shifts.
Rate of pay is £11.50 per hour during training. Night shift £12.50 per hour.
Pay increases of 50p per hour on completion of training.
