Summary
We are looking for an experienced bicycle mechanic to join our growing team in Islington. This role can be part-time or full-time, depending on your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Bike Repairs & Servicing – Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues, including brakes, gears, and punctures.
• Building New Bikes – Assemble bicycles from parts, ensuring they are correctly set up and safe to ride.
• Refurbishing Used Bikes – Restore second-hand bikes to a high standard for resale.
• Customer Service – Advise customers on maintenance, repairs, and cycling products.
• Workshop Maintenance – Keep tools and workspaces organized for efficient workflow.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a bicycle mechanic.
• Strong understanding of bicycle components, servicing, and repair techniques.
• Experience working with electric bikes and cargo bikes is a plus.
• Ability to diagnose and fix mechanical issues efficiently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent customer service.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a passion for cycling.
