Crynodeb
The Nutrition and Dietetics department consists over 60 dietitians and support staff, providing acute hospital, community and outpatient services for adults and children. Staff work across sites including St George’s Hospital, Queen Mary’s Hospital, St John’s Therapy Centre, care homes and other community settings.
The department covers a variety of specialties including oncology, renal, neurology, haematology, paediatrics, cardiology, major trauma, gastroenterology, surgical, diabetes, infectious diseases and HIV. The department is committed to training dietetic students and actively participates in the training programmes of clinical and non-clinical staff.
To work as a member of therenal dietetic team at St Georges Hospital. To be responsible for providing a specialist dietetic service to renal patients; following evidence based practice, being anactive multidisciplinary team member, educator, developing nutrition policies and guidelines, participating in audit and research related torenal servicesin order to improve health outcomes and develop the role and service
