Summary

Darlington Learning and Skills Service is a highly performing adult and community learning provider, graded andlsquo;Goodandrsquo; by Ofsted. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and committed professional to develop, deliver and assess a range of programmes including Maths, English and Employability.



Primarily we are looking for tutors who can work with both adults as well as young people aged 16-19. Within the Adult sector, we offer a wide range of courses and qualifications including, Maths, English, ICT, ESOL, a range of L1 and L2 qualifications and community courses. We also offer a wide range of online qualifications which offers remote working so if you have the specialisms needed then please consider applying. We are also looking for tutors who have other skill sets to offer to such as interests or hobbies to support our community course offer, if you feel you have any other skills that you think may be of interest to us please contact Mally Bleasby on the details below or submit an application, we are always looking to grow our provision and you may just have the skills set we need.



As part of the delivery team, you will have a key role to play in developing, coordinating,andnbsp; delivering an dsupporting accredited and non-accredited learning programmes to meet the needs of our learners.



You will develop innovative programmes to inspire learners to progress onto further learning, training, employment and volunteering and take responsibility for increasing participation among those groups who traditionally have low participation in learning.



We are looking for someone who has experience of working with a wide range of learners, including the most vulnerable, who enjoys working on their own initiative and as part of a team.



Experience of coordinating programmes would also be an advantage. In return, we offer training, the support of a small, friendly and forward-thinking team with a passion for offering quality provision to the most vulnerable in our community.
