Salary: £33,000, depending on experience
Are you a passionate and experienced early years professional looking for the next step in your career? Our client’s small and welcoming nursery is seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager to help lead their dedicated team and provide exceptional care and education for young children.
As Deputy Nursery Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the nursery, supporting staff, and creating a safe and engaging learning environment for all children.
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Education or equivalent
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursery setting
- Strong knowledge of EYFS framework and regulations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills
- An understanding of diversity, equality, and inclusion in early childhood education
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and outside agencies
Responsibilities
- Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursery
- Assist in leading and managing a team of educators and staff
- Ensure the provision of high-quality care and education for all children
- Implement and oversee curriculum planning and assessment
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
- Adhere to all policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
- Support continuous professional development for staff
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
