Summary
We are continuing to transform the Care at Home services through an approach that bring positive and life changing improvements to those who receive our services, with a focus on helping them to achieve as much independence as they can in their own homes.
To support this we are looking for a Team Leader for our Care at Home Team (Hamilton).
As part of the Care at Home management team, the Team Leader will play a key leadership and management role, responsible for the management and supervision of a team of staff, and the management and oversight of the assessment function as well as the management, delivery and development of services. As one of the largest services provided by the Council and the HSCP, the service plays a critical role in enabling individuals to remain at home in a way that promotes their wellbeing, dignity, privacy, respect and personal choices.

It is essential that applicants either hold or are working towards a SSSC recognised professional qualification in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Social Care or Management. The successful candidate is required to maintain a registration with the Scottish Social Services Council.
