Summary
Our client based near St. Ives is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to join them on a full time permanent basis working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am - 5.00pm. This is a great opportunity to join an established local business who offer training and career progression.
Responsibilities
In this role as a Health & Safety Officer you will be responsible day to day for a varied workload including:-
You will be responsible to undertake inspections on site
You will conduct performance monitoring and compliance
Responsible to promote staff/team to adhere to H & S practices
Produce reports and reporting for H & S
Assisting with Health & Safety strategy
Skills required
To be considered for the role of Health & Safety Officer, you will have:-
Nebosh Level 3 or equivalent
Experience of creating and maintaining H & S policies, processes and risk assessments
Background within Warehousing, logistics / manufacturing
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to converse at all levels.
Own transport is required due to location
