Crynodeb
The role of senior practitioner is to support the Service Front Door, with triaging, Initial Assessments, Duty Team and several exciting interface activities. These practitioners will be experienced and confident mental health workers who can support wide ranging discussions and provide clear risk and formulations to improve the journey of the young people presenting to the service. There will be opportunities to develop brief interventions and implementation of a range of groups and 1-1 therapies within the I Thrive Model and as indicated by CAMHS and NICE guidance. NELFT support and encourage staff to develop professionally. In B&D CAMHS, we have a well established, rolling multidisciplinary in-house training programme. This ensures staffs are adequately supported in acquiring the appropriate skills required to deliver high quality evidence-based care and support to children, young persons and their families whilstdelivering meaningful outcomes for our young children, adolescent and families /carers.
