Crynodeb
Core Duties Cardiology Running a rapid access chest pain clinic Supervising of & the reporting of nuclear perfusion scans An echocardiography session An outpatient clinic Involvement with the care of Cardiology in-patients Attendance at Multidisciplinary meetings Involvement in audit & education Full training & supervision will occur in all of the above, & all aspects of non invasive Cardiology General Medicine Between them the Clinical Fellow in Cardiology, the Clinical Fellows in other medical specialities, & two of the staff grade doctors, together with junior medical staff in training will have responsibility for admission, assessment & treatment of emergency medical patients.The Clinical Fellows will be required to provide 3 sessions per week fulfilling these duties (including a post take ward round). In conjunction with the Consultant & Junior Doctors, provide medical cover for inpatients under the care of the team to which they are attached.
