Summary
Great opportunity to work as a Slicer at our client's busy food manufacturing facility, with immediate starts available!
Staffline is recruiting Slicers to work in Elm.
You must have your own transport to get to and from the site.
The rate of pay is:
- Night shift £14.20 per hour
Overtime is available after working 37.5 hours and is paid at:
- Night shift £17.33 per hour
As a slicer you will be required to work 5 out of 7 nights with additional overtime nights offered but not expected.
The shifts for this position are:
- Nights, 8pm to 4am
Please note, that this is subject to change to cover and meet business requirements.
This is an ongoing position with a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
Your Time at Work
As a Slicer, you will be responsible for operating slicing machines and preparing a variety of vegetables in accordance with customer requirements. You will also support the wider team with other preparation machinery. This role requires you to ensure both your own health and safety, as well as that of others.
Key responsibilities include maintaining product quality, adhering to procedures, and proactively solving problems.
Please note, this role will require you to stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours) and involve some heavy lifting (up to 20kg).

The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively in English and have a good level of written English to complete paperwork accurately.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
