YOUR ROLE:
As Finance Director, you’ll lead the finance function, ensuring financial control, strategic decision-making, and compliance across multiple international locations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
âœ”ï¸ Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
âœ”ï¸ Managing financial analysis, reporting, and month-end processes.
âœ”ï¸ Presenting accurate, insightful financial data to the Board and external stakeholders.
âœ”ï¸ Handling UK and international tax compliance, ensuring deadlines are met.
âœ”ï¸ Leading audits, statutory accounts, and R&D tax credit claims.
âœ”ï¸ Managing bank relationships, business insurance, and financial risk.
âœ”ï¸ Driving IT and process improvements to integrate finance and operations.
âœ”ï¸ Supporting funding for organic growth and acquisitions.
âœ”ï¸ Leading an overseas accounts team and ensuring intergroup financial accuracy.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on finance leader with:
âœ”ï¸ ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualification.
âœ”ï¸ Strong financial management experience, ideally within an SME.
âœ”ï¸ Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
âœ”ï¸ High-level Excel skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
âœ”ï¸ Proven ability to manage tax, compliance, and currency complexities across multiple locations.
âœ”ï¸ Strategic thinking with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
âœ”ï¸ Experience leading and developing finance teams, including overseas teams.
âœ”ï¸ The ability to roll up your sleeves and dive into the details when needed.
