Land Engineering Surveyor - Sellafield BEP Project

Location: Sellafield, UK
Hours: 42 hours per week
Rate: £57/hour (Umbrella PAYE)
Client: Balfour Beatty

About the Role:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Land Engineering Surveyor to join the Sellafield BEP Project. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, responsible for surveying, setting out complex systems, and ensuring high standards in data processing and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
✅ Undertake survey duties as assigned by the Lead Surveyor
Set out and survey Civil, Mechanical, and Piping Equipment
✅ Conduct and record as-built positional checks
✅ Process survey data into CAD drawings and reports
✅ Act as a technical subject matter expert
Mentor & coach junior surveyors and engineers
✅ Ensure compliance with quality assurance & safety standards

Essential Skills & Experience:
Degree or HND in Surveying
Strong experience with modern surveying equipment & software
Ability to conduct Laser Scanning & complex surveys
Comfortable working independently & in a team
Flexible to work night/weekend shifts if required
Good knowledge of AutoCAD, LSS, Leica Survey Equipment
CSCS Card & IOSH Working Safely certification
(Desirable) Member of the Chartered Institute of Engineering Surveyors
(Desirable) Experience with Navisworks & 3D BIM
