Crynodeb
Carbon60 are working with a well-known consultancy organisation to recruit several Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) Assessors across South Wales and the West of England (Cardiff, Swansea, and Hereford).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct structured DSA needs assessment meetings remotely and in-person.
- Recommend appropriate assistive technology, software, and student support strategies.
- Complete DSA Needs Assessment Reports in line with funding regulations.
- Respond to post-assessment queries and review students' support needs.
Requirements:
- Experience in DSA assessments (minimum 1 year).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to plan and manage workload independently.
- Familiarity with assistive technology and student support services.
- Happy with working predominately remotely, with occasional on-site assessments.
Job Specifics:
- Salary: Ranging from £27,500 (1 years' experience) to £34,000 (fully trained with 5+ years' DSA experience) + benefits.
- Location/Working Flex: Mainly fully remote working, but must be within ~30 minutes of either the Cardiff, Swansea, or Hereford DSA assessment centres for occasional in-person assessments, if required.
