Location: Marischal College, Broad Street, Aberdeen
Duration: Permanent, Full Time
Trainee Authorised Officer G9 £25,371 - £27,883
Authorised Officer G13 £38,493 - £43,498
The postholder will be required to contribute to the fulfilment of the Council’s statutory
responsibility for delivering Environmental Health services.
Requirements
Authorised Officer -
The Higher Certificate in Food Premises Inspection awarded by REHIS, or equivalent; and Higher Certificate in Food Standards Inspection awarded by REHIS, or equivalent OR Higher Certificate in Food Practice
Full current UK driving licence
Trainee Authorised Officer -
HND in Food Technology and/or Food Science or BSc (Hons) in Food Science or equivalent
Full current UK driving licence
Responsibilities
Authorised Officer -
The field of food safety/science and technology of food/food production and processing
Writing reports and keeping accurate records.
Ability to work to deadlines.
Ability to plan and organise work effectively.
