Puretone Ltd. is a market leading designer and manufacturer of sub-miniature audio devices, based in Medway City Estate, Rochester, Kent.
Working alongside fully trained electronic engineers and technicians in our Calibration & Service, Production and Test workshops this is an ideal entry opportunity for those with strong interest or existing qualification in electronics/engineering/computing. The successful applicant will be given training where necessary.
Duties to include:
Calibration and maintenance of in-house test equipment
Calibration, Service & Repair of customer audiometry instruments
Upkeep of calibration databases
Electrical PAT safety testing and record keeping
Programming of electronic hybrids using engineering software
Test & Inspection of manufactured items
Desirable skills:
Level 2 Electronics/Engineering qualification
PAT testing
Ability to understand and follow circuit diagrams, drawings and procedures
Competent use of electronics test equipment – Multi-meters, Oscilloscopes etc.
Fine hand soldering
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 (36.25 hrs)
