Summary
Applications are invited for a full-time Consultant in Upper Gastrointestinal Medicine and interventional endoscopy to start in 2025. The post is based within the gastrointestinal services division at University College Hospital which is one of the largest in the UK
The post holder is expected to have broad experience of upper GI disorders. Experience in EUS would be desirable and in particular therapeutic upper GI therapeutic endoscopy and upper GI cancer management. They will be expected to contribute to the further service development and clinical research in these areas. The post will include consultant-led UGI endoscopy sessions, outpatient clinics and ward based responsibilities. Contribution to the academic and research activity of the group will be expected. The post holder will be incorporated into the gastroenterology on-call rota at UCLH. Applicants will be expected to have excellent communication skills and experience in postgraduate teaching and training.
