Summary
About the Role:
Deliver engaging and interactive lessons for students working toward Functional Skills qualifications in English and Maths.
- Provide tailored support to meet individual learning needs, with a focus on SEND and SEMH students.
- Help students build confidence and achieve the skills they need for further education, employment, and life.
- Adapt teaching strategies to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
What Were Looking For:
- Experience in teaching or tutoring Functional Skills at Level 1 and Level 2, with a particular focus on SEND and SEMH learners.
- A proactive and patient approach to teaching, with the ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and ICT.
- Experience using specialized teaching strategies and interventions for SEND and SEMH students.
- A DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
