We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team working within Lancashire Hospitals, to manage transfers of deceased patients between hospitals in order to facilitate completion of a digital autopsy.
Position will involve a considerable amount of driving as well as some heavy lifting, full manual handling and infection control training will be provided.
UPMOST NECESSITIES FOR APPLICANTS ARE CARE, RESPECT, HONESTY & RELIABILITY
Must be over 21 and 6 points or less for insurance purposes.
The role will involve handling of deceased, previous experience in a mortuary or funeral environment is advantageous but not completely necessary.
Full CRB check will be carried out due to the nature of the position.
We welcome applications from all walks of life and abilities, however you must be physically fit with no pre existing injuries that may be made worse by moving and handling stretchers and patients.
This role is 5 days a week (approx 25-30 hrs), starting at 8am, and covering staff sickness, busy periods and holidays when required, the role has fluctuating working patterns, some days will be shorter than others based on distance required to travel and how busy we are.
The position will require starting from Kirkham on most mornings. (no weekend or bank holiday work).
Overtime available for successful applicant.
