Location: IWT Ty’n Llidiart, Ty’n Llidiart Industrial Estate. LL21 9RR

Salary: Earn up to £36,382.32 per annum

Shift Patterns Available: Night shift – Monday to Thursday (4 Nights) 6pm to 6am

As a Robotic Welder Setter Operator, you will be working within a highly advanced and fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your role will be to ensure the efficient running of our state of the art robotic cells welding chassis, components and sub-assemblies. Ideally you will have good knowledge of MIG Welding with a background of working in a similar manufacturing environment, using grinders and other associated hand and power tools. You will also be able to read and interpret engineering drawings including welding symbols.

The job duties of a Robotic Welder Setter Operator include working to write, test, and modify programs that direct the actions of robotic equipment. As a Robotic Welder Setter Operator, your responsibilities typically consist of using robotic software to create directions for manufacturing applications, introducing and help developing new jigs to aid the process. You will help the Team Leader ensure production targets and KPI’s are achieved, ensuring that safety and the quality of the product is top priority. You will look to continually improve the process, promoting a right first time culture.
