The Role
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced drug and alcohol recovery practitioner to work within our Gloucestershire Service, working closely with partners from Probation and the courts as well as mental health and housing professionals and other multi agency partners.

Your focus will be to assist those who have recently been released from prison to engage with Via, offer support, advice and brief interventions and to ensure that harm reduction advice is given. You will liaise with, housing, mental health and clinical teams supporting people to engage.

You will facilitate referrals into community services and carry out assessments working alongside the Via hub teams and the wider Criminal Justice Team.

This exciting role will offer you the chance to make a lasting difference to the lives of people, their families and the community.

This role is dependent upon the successful applicant obtaining an enhanced DBS and security vetting at an enhanced level.
