Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm

Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with SEN? Do you specialise in Early Years and want to help young learners thrive?

Long Term Futures are working with a primary school in Old Oscott, looking for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team after February half-term. This long-term role will continue until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for children with SEN in Early Years.
- Create and adapt engaging learning activities to meet individual needs.
- Deliver targeted interventions, including phonics and early reading support.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to promote a positive learning environment.
- Support children with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH, ensuring they feel safe and engaged.
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to promote inclusive education.

The ideal candidate will have:
- A Teaching Assistant qualification, Early Years equivalent, or relevant degree.
- Experience working with Early Years.
- A background in supporting children with SEN, adapting learning strategies to meet their needs.
