Production Technician – Ear-mould / 3D Print lab
Duties include the custom manufacture of medical device ear-mould inserts and shells for hearing aids, swim plugs, noise protection earplugs and music monitors from acrylic and silicone materials.
This involves both traditional shaping and finishing by hand along with the use of computer based 3D imaging and printing equipment.
Very good dexterity, hand to eye co-ordination and attention to detail are essential.
Skills, techniques and equipment are similar to those used by dental laboratories / technicians.
This position would suit candidates with strong art & craft / model making skills.
Full training will be given.
