Supervisor/cook- 1-2 days/weekend & AD-HOC COVER (staff holidays weekday & weekends)

Working hours :
Weekdays: 10am-5.30pm (+30mins)
Sat: 10am-6pm ( +30mins)
Sun: 10am-5pm (+30mins)

We are looking for someone reliable, who can work 1-2 days/week & cover staff annual leave/sickness. You need to be flexible and available to come in at short notice if someone calls in sick.


You will be required to supervise, carry out kitchen duties and face customers when needed; work using your own initiave. Ensuring customers have a positive experience, deal with any issues that arise in a prompt manner.

You will be reporting directly to the manager, who will enlist you with tasks that need to be done.

Roles and responsibilities include (this list is not exhaustive):
● Liaising with and reporting to the manager
● Open and close the centre, be a responsible key holder
● Coordinate job assignments; providing feedback on employee work performance. Supervise processes and ensure smooth operations; parties run on time, staff are on time etc. Delegating tasks; ensuring all preparation is done e.g. party prep
● Exceptional verbal communication skills and friendly customer service
● Remarkable time management skills, detail-oriented
● Cashing up/responible for money; filling in the paperwork
● Take party bookings
● Remain professional, be objective and impartial; resolve and prevent conflict (customers and staff). Be the main port of call, deal with any issues and report them accordingly
● Follow all health and safety/risk assessment procedures and ensure staff are adhering to them as well as training others (e.g. incident forms etc)
● Taking orders, cooking duties, making drinks; general kitchen and cleaning duties
● Ensuring the play centre is kept clean and safe
● Educating staff about potential food allergies and how to make customers aware of these ingredients; ensuring all staff follow strict personal safety, food safety and food storage guidelines
● Supervising and maintaining cleanliness to meet regulatory sanitation and hygiene standards
● Plan employee shifts and work schedules (if needed)
