Crynodeb
Lead the implementation of Newborn Bloodspot Screening Wales policies, standards, protocols and performance management framework. Develop effective professional relationships with training leads, governance leads and other health board staff to deliver and implement a high quality of newborn screening programme in health Boards across Wales. Plan, support, facilitate and monitor the progress of an improved newborn bloodspot programme and effective working with all partners. Provide expert professional advice on newborn bloodspot screening. Responsible for ensuring resilient, high quality and consistent provision throughout the national programme, interpreting national policy and determining delivery plans for the whole programme, securing opportunities for continuous improvement and supporting the strategic development of the service.
