Crynodeb
Providing child care and education for children from babies to preschool age in a nursery environment. Practitioners have responsibility for helping the children grow in the best way possible working in partnership with their parents.
No qualification is necessary for this apprenticeship, as full training and the opportunity to obtain a qualification in the sector is possible with in house and external training providers. Depending on qualifications already held candidates will be expected to complete the Early Years Practitioner (level 2) over a 12 month period or the Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator) over 18 months.
Any experience is beneficial but a passion for working with young children will be essential.
Full time roles of 40 hours per week are completed over 4 days so a day off in the week helps keep staff morale high and motivated. Usual 4 weeks holiday as well as bank holidays is also part of the package and uniform provided.
Candidates must be 17 (or turning 17 soon) or older, we have no age restriction or limit.
