What skills and experience we're looking for
37 Hours per week, 52 Weeks per year - Permanent
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Site Assistant to join our Site Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and friendly environment, ensuring the school remains a clean, safe, and well-maintained space for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the upkeep,maintenance, cleanliness, and security of the school site.
• Opening and closing the school buildings on a rotational basis (6:30am opening, 6:00pm closing).
• Carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks.
• Assisting with site security and health & safety procedures.
• Setting up rooms and spaces for school events and activities.
• Working flexibly to accommodate the needs of the school.
• Basic understanding of Health and Safety, COSHHH and Building Control
About You:
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently.
• A good team player with a positive attitude.
• Basic maintenance and DIY skills are desirable.
• Willingness to adapt to the needs of the school, including occasional flexibility with working hours.
