Job Title: Lecturer in Childcare and Education



Salary: Lecturer Salary Scale Point 5 - 16

£17,051 - £25,124 per annum (actual salary) *subject to progression criteria*

*The salary progression criteria beyond point 11 of the Lecturer scale will be based on you achieving and maintaining, on an annual basis, the Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) & QTS.  To progress beyond point 14 of the Lecturer salary scale, you will be expected to achieve and maintain the Advanced Teacher Status (ATS).



Contract: MC Lecturer, Part Time 0.6FTE, Permanent



Hours: 22.2 hours per week



Teaching hours: 518.4 annualised hours



Annual Leave: 45 per annum plus statutory Bank Holidays



Pension: Teachers’ Pension Scheme



About the role

We welcome applications from all disciplines within the Childcare and Education sector, ideally with qualifications in teaching or training. The job will involve teaching Further Education teaching or Higher Education lecturing and the contract is part-time. To plan and deliver a wide range of challenging, relevant learning and work experiences that ensure all learners can develop and apply the skills, knowledge, behaviours, and attitudes required for the 21st Century learning, life and work.
