We are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual to join our experienced Pastoral team working with our students and parents in our in-site Specialist Resource Provision (SRP). The role will involve promoting students’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion to raise their learning and attainment.This role is an exciting opportunity to work with young people and parents in supporting their progress and integration in school. The successful candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills and be confident in dealing with students, staff and parents on a day-to-day basis. The successful candidate will have an interest in supporting young people and will need to have a professional but friendly manner, respecting confidentially at all times. The ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a wider team is essential.

This post if full-time working 36 hours per week Monday to Friday term-time only. Working hours are likely to be Monday to Thursday 8.15am – 4.00pm and Friday 8.15am – 3.45pm. The full-time equivalent salary is starting at £24,801pa, increasing to £26,680pa with service. The actual salary for working term time only (39 weeks) plus 23 days annual leave, is £21,500 - £23,190pa.
