Our client is currently recruiting a CI Engineer who will assist the Engineering & CI Manager implementing process and engineering improvements to enhance the engineering capabilities, output and, critically the quality of our client's product into the market.
Responsibilities
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Engineering & Manufacturing Department.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and processes.
Identify and eliminate waste in all forms across the manufacturing process.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
Implement and maintain process metrics to track improvement progress.
Provide training and support to team members on continuous improvement strategies.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Ensure the company maintenance standards and procedures are followed.
Qualifications/Experience
HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or time-served
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Build inter-departmental relationships.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
A proactive attitude towards continuous improvement, innovation and automation.
Good all-round experience of automation equipment.
Robotics and PLC experience advantageous (training will be provided).
Lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.
Must have worked in engineering role.
