Gloucestershire College is recruiting for two experienced Lecturers to join our discreet High Needs provision ‘Foundation Studies’ based at our Cheltenham, to teach students with moderate and additional learning difficulties.

The purpose of this role is to create and deliver individualised stimulating opportunities for learning that focus on core employability and independence skills needed for adulthood. The curriculum offers students a bespoke personalised timetable, which complements their employability and independence growth and supports their aspiration. The curriculum is fluid depending on students’ starting point with module topics covering a broad spectrum; catering, nutrition, household skills, personal care, developing and maintaining relationships, travel training, social action, volunteering, work experience, employability skills, math, and English.

Gloucestershire College’s Discreet High Needs (SEND) provision is a vibrant forward-thinking place to work; with passionate and committed staff who want to make a difference to every student’s long-term prospects.
