Summary

Acorn by Synergie is searching for an Electrically Bias, Maintenance Engineer to join their client, a manufacturing business in Hartlepool.

Forming part of a small, multi-disciplined team, reporting to the Shift Engineer, the purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth running of the factory by resolving breakdowns and delivering maintenance. The role also includes driving improvement across the site in terms of new machinery, quality and performance.

Duties and responsibilities include:

* Attending to breakdowns onsite ensuring rapid response resulting in plant equipment and machinery breakdown time is minimised.

* Carry out repairs to plant and equipment during production, effectively and efficiently either alone and/or as part of a team.

* Deliver on plant uptime and maintenance KPI's through planned, preventative & predictive maintenance.

* Ensure all Health and Safety standards are met, and that all equipment complies with Company and legal standards.

* Maintain daily Engineering report log.

* Ensure work orders are completed on time.

* Liaise effectively with external contractors.

The successful candidate will have completed an electrical apprenticeship or possess a recognised electrical maintenance qualification (NVQ or Similar). A background in heavy engineering manufacturing is preferred.

This position operates on a shift pattern working 12 hour days and nights, 2 days, 2 nights and 4 days off.
