Crynodeb
Provide Simulation supervision and develop courses to support training for trainees in London and coordinate training activities to ensure that they are Relevant to the training needs during the recovery period Enable participation by deanery / local trainees from across all centres in the London Deanery Maximise the value of HEE funds allocated for training recovery activities Mapped to the new and existing RCOphth curriculum Provide Teaching and Supervision for Ophthalmology Specialty (OST) and Local (OLT) Trainees, and Ophthalmic Practitioner (OPT) Learners Supervise Simulation (in-person at WEH and remote) to pan-London ophthalmology trainees Deliver teaching sessions in line with the OST, OLT and OPT curriculums. Deliver clinical skills training to West London ST1s starting ophthalmology Provide teaching and supervision of learners and junior trainees during clinical activity. Support learners development in education, research, management and leadership. Perform Workplace Based Assessments (WBAs) and lead feedback. Support learners and trainees in the collection of evidence for their portfolios. Contribute to West London and other London Regional Teaching sessions
