A Vacancy at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust.


To provide highly specialist occupational therapy working as an expert clinical practitioner within the Brent Community LD Service.

To work effectively in partnership with a range of agencies and community providers that support service users in their recovery.



The successful applicant may have contact with patients or service users. As an NHS Trust we strongly encourage and support vaccination as this remains the best way to protect yourself, your family, your colleagues and of course patients and service users when working on our healthcare settings.

To manage a defined clinical caseload of service users with complex mental health needs, using evidence based and recovery principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate treatment.

To integrate evidence based practice and skilful use of assessments & interventions with personal recovery principles to support clients in the community. With the overall aim to improve the service users’ quality of life and to support them to do the things they want to do and live the life they want to lead

To provide the clinical leadership to the occupational therapy with the support of the Service Manager and Brent Head Occupational Therapist

To work in conjunction with the Trust Head Occupational Therapist, Borough Head Occupational Therapist and other Lead OTs in the trust to support the development of and promote evidence-based OT within community services.

To manage financial resources relating to OT

To be an active participant of the unit’s management team
