This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week.
You will work a variety of shifts, between the hours of 7.30am and 9.30pm, with occasional working until 10.00pm required. This role could be based at any of our campuses in Weston-super-Mare.
Due to the shift work nature of this role, you will receive a shift allowance of £1,000 per annum.
This role involves a high level of physical activity, and some working outdoors.
Day to day duties of the role
To support the safety and security of the College premises, vehicles and contents
As instructed, to ensure that the premises are properly maintained, and all lighting and heating systems and equipment are functioning. To undertake minor repairs and decorations as requested.
To receive deliveries of goods made to the premises and convey such items to other parts of the premises.
To set the alarm system and secure the building and campuses at the end of the College day.
Required skills and qualifications
Full driving licence is essential as you will be required to travel between college campuses
Excellent customer service / communication skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Flexible approach to service delivery
