About the role

The Asylum & Migration Navigator will support clients to navigate life in the UK and support the successful integration and resettlement of adults and families. This position is designed for those who are passionate about helping vulnerable customers and ensuring they receive the necessary support and guidance throughout their journey. The Asylum & Migration Navigator will provide direct assistance to asylum seekers and newly granted refugees, with a focus on supporting them in areas such as work & skills, ESOL and employment.

Candidates should have an understanding of diverse cultures and be sensitive to the unique challenges faced by asylum seekers and refugees. You will need strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as being able to think critically to address client needs as they arise. The Asylum & Migration Navigator will be required to manage multiple cases simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail.

Immediately responsible to Asylum & Immigration Coordinator

Town Hall, Bury or any other base within the borough, as required

Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week. Dependent on service requirements, you may be required to work on a rota basis.
