Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as an Order Fulfilment and Shipping Assistant. This role will primarily involve packing customer orders, managing inventory, creating shipping labels, updating our CRM system, and handling shipping-related administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be methodical, motivated, possess strong organizational skills, and exhibit a commitment to ensuring accurate and timely order fulfilment.
Responsibilities:
• Pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manual handling duties including lifting and carrying packages.
• Create shipping labels and ensure correct packaging and labelling.
• Update CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system with order status and tracking information.
• Send shipping confirmation emails to customers.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to improve packing and shipping processes.
• Perform other administrative tasks related to order fulfilment and shipping as needed.
Requirements:
• GCSEs qualifications or equivalent.
• Prior experience in packing, shipping, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively.
Location: Manchester, UK
Hours: A minimum of 7 hours per week, with the potential for extra hours to be offered, based on demand. Days of work to be confirmed, but hours to be completed between 9am and 5pm Mondays-Fridays (no evenings/weekends).
Hourly Rate: £12.60 per hour
