Crynodeb
The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of the departments imaging work including teaching and working alongside the ophthalmologist, visual field technicians, optometrist and orthoptists. To assist in the delivery of specialised clinical diagnostic imaging. Assist and advise on all types of imaging requests. Discuss test procedures with patients, relatives or carers who may havephysical/learning disabilities, or whose first language is not English. Discuss technical information with colleagues in relation to imaging equipment used to ensure optimum results are obtained for clinical and research purposes. Use multiple imaging software systems. To be responsible for stock control and ordering of consumables. Flexibility with covering annual leave/sick leave in the community if required. This is a permanent post of 30 hours per week. The full time 30.0 hours can be shared between two part time candidates (Please refer to the job description/person specification for further details)
